Tradition

Make a wish

Tap the cake to blow out the candles. Yes, all of them. You are twenty-five, that is a lot of candles.

Done. Don't tell anyone what it was.
A note

Paige,

Twenty-five years ago today you arrived and the whole world got better. Every picture here is a day I was lucky enough to be your dad, and every one of them still makes me smile.

You were brave before you could walk, funny before you could talk, and stubborn in all the right ways. Wherever this year takes you, I know it will be good, because you are the one taking it there.

Happy birthday, Paige. I am proud of you, today and every day. I love you. Go celebrate.

Love, Dad
